OTHER SERVICES

We go above and beyond plating to deliver fabulous service.

Precision Masking

Design for Manufacturing

Design for Manufacturing

Precision masking to prevent plating of areas that should not have plating is a critical skill. Over the years we have developed precision masking techniques for flat and curved surfaces. Call us for project specific needs.

Design for Manufacturing

Design for Manufacturing

Design for Manufacturing

Have you designed your parts to be easily fixtured for plating? Can your parts be barrel plated or should they be racked? What post-plating processes will you need? Our engineers love to help you. Call for insights.

Re-hab & Re-plate

Design for Manufacturing

Aerospace antennas, vacuum vessels, your grandmother's silver set, we re-habilitate your "experienced" parts and re-plate them for future service requirements.

Anodizing

Passivating

Anodizing increases the thickness of the natural oxide layer on the surface of metals parts. It can be used to improve resistance to corrosion and wear or to permanently color parts for aesthetics or functionality.

Chromate

Passivating

Passivating

Chromate conversion coating can be used to passivate steel, aluminum, zinc, cadmium, coper silver, titanium, magnesium, or tin alloys. Chromate conversion can also be used in concert with anodizing.

Passivating

Passivating

Passivating

Passivation aids in the creation of an oxide layer that is less likely to react with air and create corrosion. Passivating makes stainless steel more resistant to rust, extends the life of the product, and can reduce maintenance.
